With Corporate Command, the Osaka can't start in Tau Ceti. All other ships can still do so with both mods enabled, just not the Osaka, which defaults to Eridani.

Seriously, even after graduation, she still takes wrong turns... (/Azumanga)

The starting point is declared in each ship's code. In games with same mods enabled, many ships can have different starting point. CC overwrites the three starting ships to start at Tau Ceti, but if you add playership mods you'll have to change the startPos in the code
Yes, look at my avatar, I have a wyvera type ship.

I haven't tried a vanilla ship in CC since it left beta, but when I did they still started in Eridani too.

Same thing happened when I started a Sapphire game in the release version of CC.

This is correct - the Osaka, like the other vanilla ships, will start in Eridani instead of Tau Ceti

Re-post to respond to something I hadn't noticed:

The vanilla ships were changed to start in Tau Ceti instead? That is new - originally they were not designed to.
There is no way to account for this though because it was done on CC's side.

Ok - repost again - I just checked, like the Osaka, the vanilla ships still start in Eridani with Corp Com

That seems to be the case. I <think> I have started the game with a Sapphire and started in Tau Ceti. Maybe I changed my mind at the last second. Anyway, the reason the Osaka starts in Eridani is still because that is what is defined in the ship's code.

Uh, whoops. Just confirmed this myself - only the Corp Com ships start in Tau.

My mistake. Sorry - mark this as not-an-issue.
