My OS is windows Vista, i don't think i read it was tested for it but anyway. The game seemed to be running fine, played two hours and the only thing that occurred was a graphic (memory-) glitch twice when the background wasn't updated timely while moving.

The crash was in the system after Aurelius, i was being chased and close to a pirate station, there were charon pirateships. A guided missile was about to hit me (was the last i saw) and the game stopped running.

**** it seems i played a lot longer than two hours but i opened windows a couple of times to access the internet. I'll keep the savefile for if it's wanted.****

Mhm no, i resurrected using the save and the system was 'cleared' so i started over and destroyed a station and picked up the exact same loot. And then when i get into a fight with charon pirates it crashed again.

I stopped running using Ctrl alt del.
I seem to have worked around it now by marking a box... so far :) For people using windows vista, click properties and select compatibility, at this point you can select your personal trusted old operating system under which the program worked fine.

If you've got the save file, please send it my way ([email protected])

In both crashes, the "missile" seems to be debris from a wreck being hit by something.

In the second crash, it looks like the crash happened in the intro screen...

Files sent. That's right, altho in fact it's the third crash. I had it minimized and when i reactivated it crashed. But that was all using vista, do you still find it worth the efort?

If it's not too much trouble, I'd still like to see the save files (see if I find a hidden bug).

It's a little suspicious to me that more than one crash happened because of debris flying off a wreck. If it were a Vista problem then I would have expected the crashes to happen in random (and unrelated) places.

I suspect there is a real bug there.
