Save file corrupted

When jumping gates with a few Dwarg following me. I jumped the gate before all of the Dwarg following me got through the first gate. This is usually just an annoyance but...my save file was corrupted.

Perhaps if I could find a remove my Dwarg buddies from the savefile I could continue?
