Oh man I am drooling just over the graphics(starting to think about modding myself) i got several cool ideas that i will not share until I am done modding them though(starting to read up on modding)...i love to think outside the box...i did share some semi-cool ideas...gonna save the best ideas for myself thank you. By the time you finish the stars beyond...I am sure I willl have extensive knowledge to creat some!
New things interest me.

wolfy where can i download transcendence the stars beyond its great best extension ever. I got alsow some idead
1.
CSC can be bould in st khatarins star it should take 5-30 minutes in a giant shipyard
2.
korolov station in Charon system can be bould if destroyed
3.
some war and normal prisons

I can't find Some stuff I know I sent you in the resource file.
UWA2-4 are absent, as is the Makayev cruiser unless it got nixed at some point.

On the xml front how do you plan to assign UNIDs? I need some for the UWA stuff and I assume I'm going to be the one coding the new Huari ships as well.

Wolfy, between R_P_C and I, we've found a few oddities...

First off, why are UNIDs defined in two places (both TSB_Core.xml and TSB_Ansabi.xml, for instance, both contain the following line:

Also, why, when this mod is installed in a Vanilla Transcendence directory, do the Ansabi and Huari ships show up in the game, if you start a Vanilla game, instead of a TSB game?

EDIT:
Okay, I tried disabling TSB_Core.xml, but then there was no Adventure Extension selection when starting a new game (in fact, it started a new Vanilla game without even allowing a ship selection).
So, I re-enabled TSB_Core.xml, disabled TSB_CoreEXT.xml, got the Adventure Extension selection for starting a new game, got the ship selection, was listening to the Transcendence theme while text scrolled the story, but as soon as the Transcendence theme ended, the text stopped scrolling, without all of it having scrolled by, and there the game sits, apparently locked up. However, if you click the mouse, you enter the game, but the last text you saw was "As you journey to the Stars Beyond...". Note: on the second try, I sat comparing ships, before selecting one, it was apparently coincidence that the music stopped right as the text stopped, the first time.

If you read the read-me, you are not supposed to use the adv. extension yet. Pretty sure I mentioned that on my post and IRC as well.

sorry about all the confusion guys, but yeah, don't use it. (just load up a vanilla game, it will use that; don't use the adv. extension; that is there for someone who can fix it to well... fix it.)

Because if a non-vanilla weapon/ship/equipment/WHATEVER is coded in one XML, and used in another..you need to declare it in both, otherwise it won't start. I've done that before. :P

Actually that shouldn't apply to true modules any longer: any unid duplication is an artifact resulting from TSB's modularized system having been devised before george implemented module support.

Ok, I'm officially declaring that I'm going on haitus from TSB for ~1-3 months (Sept: work + moving around, Oct: uni stuff & side jobs I have been neglecting, Nov: skyrim)

HOWEVER, as always, I fully intend to be accessible on IRC, and can help those wishing to contribute during this time.

I am also taking this time to plan out my Wyvera in greater detail.
