Version 0:2:0000:0000:a
http://eternalmodding.50.forumer.com/vi ... ?f=21&t=32
This is an old version I have confirmed is stable with rc4. It may still have some major bugs, but it should not crash. In theory. If it does crash, tell me right away!
Change Log:
- Extra .bmps removed
- SOME stations got fixed/rebalanced (ranx stations may still be broken, so if they offer to buy/sell stuff, just exit the dockscreen immediately, or your game may crash)
- some new items
- some new sounds
- some new graphics
- some new ships
Notes:
TOPOLOGY IS NOT YET READY! DON'T USE THE ADVENTURE EXTENSION YET! THIS IS THE OLD ONE!
They 1.0 updates ARE NOT in this version. So st.k's is still the .99cTX2 version, not the new 1.0TX2 version, which is only partially done and in a totally different version that is not to be released yet.
BTW - DON'T POST BUG REPORTS IN THIS THREAD PLEASE!!!!

If you haven't come up with a name for that monitor, how's about Legatus, the "deputy" of the emperor.

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion!
Mind posting that on my TX2 forums, so then anubis can get around to looking at that, since ATM he's (slowly) working on TX2 since I'm busy polishing TMU up for the big release.

This is the luminous hunter. Fear it.

Luminous Hunter:
The probes, the pods and the drones; in the ranks of the luminous, they are the goombas and koopas, cannon fodder, nothing more. The harvesters are not combat vehicles, the minelayers incapable of any normal combat, and the large ships deadly, but slow. These are the elite of the luminous gunships, fast and deadly, and they shoot forwards. Each hunter is equipped with an ion blaster, an ion projector (for protection against pteravores), and a pair of long-range theylion cannons. They are protected by advanced luminous armature and armor-regenerative shielding (this shield can repair the armor it covers).
Getting scared? Well, don't worry about having to face these in the numbers or situations the drones and pods will come in. Hunters are both hard to manufacture and take a good amount of resources, and thus are only produced in the meta-assemblers and node facilities. Basic assemblers lack the ability to manufacture them. Because of their anti-pteravore device and long-range theylion cannons, they are generally put to head pteravore-killing taskforces, however they can be directed against other targets if deemed to be as dangerous as the pteravores.

I'm currently (semi-)rewriting TX2 to make extensive use of that wonderful new inheritance, my newly learned scripting skills, onFire, maybe a totally new damage system... All sorts of stuff!
Also, expect a new, and rather creative, TX2-specific playership (it won't work in Vanilla T without overwriting every single item until a true ship-side onInstall is implemented) coming soon!

The wyvera are also being added as a faction in TX2 (The living ships) --- a tx2 compatible version of the wyvera adv. ext. will also be released.

TX2 is going to be a balanced mod.
A cameo may be ok, but only if they are of good enough graphical quality.

I see I still have a pretty bad reputationWolfy wrote:TX2 is going to be a balanced mod.

A good idea is to put a blown up Stephinian ship with a level fifty Stephinian Missile Rack that consumes twice as much energy as the largest reactor, so you can't actually equip it. A red herring.
Know any good Blender tutorials?
[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad

fyi, level 50 is impossible; transcendence only supports levels up to 25

IPC fighter; small and fast, armed with a quad weapon [civilian variants vary, from quad lasers to quad particle beams], military version sports an insane quad-tev9 - they were designed specifically to counter the slow moving, extremely heavily armored solarite ships

IPC gunship; this ship is designed to take on heavier ships with its slower-firing front-loaded ion-pulse cannons. It lacks the very high maneuverability of the Viper (the IPC's fighter), however it does have good speed.
