Although the current implementation isn't complete yet, as there are a few more features I'd like to implement, the basic command chain AI for the collective drones/carriers/fabricators is almost complete, and this will be then integrated with a tactical AI. That will be a major step forward in TSB, as that is one of the remaining developmental hurdles. The others include actually making the large topology, and the strategic AI (the latter of which may require a few new features engine-side).
Also, with the addition of libraries, I'm going to be restructuring TSB again, but this time it shouldn't be anywhere near as long or annoying as the TX2 era restructuring/rewrite (especially since nothing is being rewritten; most of it involves the creation of some new XML files, a lot of copy+pasting, and changing a bunch of UNIDs.
Furthermore, I'm going to try (if its feasible anyways, otherwise I'd release some code samples and tutorials) to make a library implementation of the tactical & command chain AI system for other modders to use, at least as a framework, since I haven't really thought out how independent from the ship it is on that it can be.

Well, with restructuring time comes the chance to look over all the assets again all in one sitting, along with planned features and more. TSB and its features and plans are currently undergoing an audit to see what stays, what goes, (esp. with regards to plans that have conflicts of interest), what ships need to be re-rendered, what does need to be done, and more. Once this process is complete I should have a nice TODO list and a clearer schedule. (shouldn't take too long; the longest part is by far going to be fixing all the materials & renders that I have neglected fixing since I felt 'eh, its good enough' at the time when I made them. By no means is this restructuring going to delay everything by ages like the last one did - for the most part, the things undergoing the auditing process are unrelated to the XML directly - they are either planned features or art assets. Previously I had been tossing on new feature ideas on a whim. I hope to have a much more organized and sane manner of feature management now)

Ok, so most of today was spent-re-rendering stuff with transparency and then it got too hot to continue rendering, but here is a picture of the domain superfreighter - might still undergo some revisions from here, but its getting close.

Hi, Katami is down so I'd just like to post here to point out that this ship is incredibly phallic. Moreso than the sexyship and Himal Interceptor combined. I got from Fluffy_Wolf that Atarlost made it, so I'm unsure what to think of it. Which is kinda bad since he brought up the topic of unintended freudian imagery a while ago....

Nice! Tell Wolfy to post more stuffs, and I am working on a HUGE mod that adds several companies to the game. It focuses mainly on the pre-st. Kath's systems, but I have some stuff for afterwards. You can use anything and I am fully at your disposal! p.s. Thanks for the advice!
