Ah! yeah maybe - the light raider in fact was a reference to the ORIGINAL centauri battlepod.
With the centauri additions coming to the base game, might need to see what happens with the centauri stuff that TSB adds. It may become redundant due to being moved in a remastered form to the basegame.
Also a better system for differentiating military tech needs to be worked on... ie, the standards of the CW should not be the standards everywhere.

Yeah, some VSS shields are classified as Military, but due to the sheer difficulty of the Frontier, they are considered ok for civil personell. But as a good CW-law abider, you have to treat it as Military.

Yeahhh, its on the roadmap of stuff to implement fixes for. The core sandbox adventure will be setting up a much better gameplay experience for TSB and other content like it. It may be getting more content than originally expected though so its not like new content for the game overall isnt being worked on!
ORE is semi-paused, some of the ship remasters & new factions are still getting ship art poked away at, but its not an immediate priority

So... TSB actually got some unexpected work done ahead of time, mainly since it needed to happen clean up the topology and move essentially everything into the frontier or the actual border between the frontier & the new beyond.
The Cerrai and Project twilight have had notable lore alterations to make this possible, but currently the policy I've set for TSB is that it ONLY directly deals with the frontier, the borderlands, and connecting systems, and nolonger adds dedicated content to other regions: content outside is either being moved inside the Frontier, or being moved out to the other projects (expansions, core game updates, etc).
The Centauri additions may still exist in TSB instead of being moved, but there is a possibility that they (in an updated, remastered form) may become part of a core game update instead.
EUC (Expanded Universe Common Library) is now going to be properly required (this is an additional download), as the system NupNup has been moved to it.
ALSO! The next version of TSB will be introducing native topology integration with an upcoming version of TBR, so the TTB mod is nolonger required to link the topologies of the two expansions together anymore. There may be a brief amount of time between both of them updating where TTB does not work, but TBR is missing its side of the integration to make the links show up.
WARNING: the upcoming version will NOT be compatible with existing saves. Some UNIDs needed to move around, and savegame compatibility is not a priority for TSB until TSB is fully released.

I also have gotten to Twilight System before. Neutron/high-gravity star. The stargates are pretty close to the star, so carefull. Hopefully that means we will see the Atriarch-class avatar.

TTB = TBR-TSB Bridge - a small mod that AssumedPseudonym (aka AP/nym) that adds a couple system that connects the stargate networks of TSB and TBR together

Small semi-spoilery question: Who/What are the Kithe?
I have only seen them on the Intro Screen, and I have gone over the whole Frontier.
I only found their name out by destroying a UnBound ship that was using the Hexagene Coilgun.

Yeah theres a lot of content for the frontier that isn't spawning quite correctly. The Kithe are getting a pretty big update & remaster once core work on TSB resumes later this year.
There is however a bit of TSB work that is jumping ahead of the queue to test out some topology related stuff that should fix encounters that aren't working, and also fills out the topology to something much closer to its final form.
This update (when paired with a corresponding update to TBR (The Backroads)) will also nolonger require TTB to link the two together - in fact TTB will just outright cause errors if you attempt to use it.
Anyways 0.4.2.0 is uploading right now, but will take a while to fully finish updating & for george to approve a file. Until then you might be seeing missing library a00a0001 or 00a00000. This update itself doesnt fix the spawns, it just adds in the topology.

Yep! Do note that a lot of the systems don't contain the proper content and spawns, and many just use generic random systems still. This is just the first step in a larger set of encounter reworks.

So... instead of 'paths', now it is just a maze where one system is connected to four? Are you going to test the 'Dynamic Borders' idea? And put a cap on how many Domain drones can be created. One system, and there were so many drones the [F]ast is having issues. And get some lore, like how Krethuls have Omsk, the Jovian Miner's background, the Alderem background, etc.

There are maze-like and path-like areas in the frontier, - it is sort of like a messy lasagna of paths layered on top of the new beyond
Not sure what you mean by dynamic borders, but if you mean something like npc factions taking/fighting for territory by actually playing some sort of grand strategy game against each other, that is an intended (if far future idea) for the sandbox adventure (originally from TSB though, which is why there were some old code and comments referencing a placeholder "SAI" library). There are a lot of things to work on in the near-term however, so that is likely years away still.
Once Carrier code is implemented, the domain won't have as many drones actively flying around when simply passively protecting stuff. That will be part of the sandbox code library.
Krethul are using omsk as a placeholder, nothing more.
Lore will be getting incrementally added, but the Jovian miners & Alderem for example do have large devwiki entries already, its just a matter of presenting it in-game. Priority for in-game lore presentation will largely be to basegame factions first via the sandbox adventure.
