it works for me, are you referring to the fleet assigned wingmen? they don't get upgradeable.

currently there is no looting command, but that may be something to add.

It would be super cool to combine mods. At the moment I am working on retooling autons with more useful commands, as well as adding nesting. It is far from finished as the commands need a lot of love to work properly. You can see the current version here.

It is Volkov.

There is a loot target command by the way I am using Rc2.

I have downloaded the latest version of UG-wing men and it is working .

[Message moderated by Digdug]The following phrase is a RC1-RC2 spoiler, some players would like to not to be told about details like this
In St. Katherine system Volkov leave with Helena, are all wing-men going to leave or die please some one tell me? :(

@appleseed-Rama will stay with you until he dies.

I should probably add some more wingmen.

idea 1: random encounter- another pilgrim on their way to the core gets pinned down by enemies, or runs out of fuel. The player comes to the rescue and can gain a traveling partner. no level cap.

any others?

Several versions of idea 1, at least one for each playership?

idea 2: wingmen for multi-system escort missions, possibly for korolev, possibly for the militia, possibly for the fleet (maybe, just as an example, you take a wing of Britannias to Point Juno to reinforce until the Europa can be replaced, but you get somehow penalized if you lose any, as a mission to take after making captain)

idea 2b: You're the one being escorted (maybe you're hired through Korolev to transport some extremely high value/llow mass item like a one time pad and you get an escort, but get a really nasty force attacking you at some point on the mission, could also be a fleet mission to take a one time pad from Point Juno to the Terra or vica versa)

Multisystem missions would work a lot better if the jumpdrive and gems of despair (or is it contrition?) were removed from the game.

gems of dispair, yes...

Personally, I'd love not having to dock with the wingmen to perform upgrades for several reasons;
1) The game engine has a whole slew of bugs directly related to docking with wingmen that can make docking, navigation, and control of your wingmen (especially in relation to the 'wait' order) impossible. You know, I should make a ticket on this... *makes a note to ressurrect an old TX2 version that had turrets that caused this problem, among a couple other unique ones to having wingmen/autons with max velocity of 0*
2) Why does the player have to dock with a station to upgrade when they can just dock with someone else and upgrade their ship?

I'd love it if it were possible to make it so that upgrading could either be done via a station dockservices dock screen (ie, a wingmen dockservice thing using DSF to pick the wingman)...

BTW, I really like the idea of transporting a one-time pad. It has high geek-factor and is very appropriate for Transcendence.

Yes, please do--I think I fixed some problems with this, but I'm sure I didn't get them all.

p.s.: What do you think of the new wingman behavior (i.e., they dock on their own to repair their armor)?

Could that be extended to upgrades in some way? Maybe there should be a screen (off the comms menu) where you can give an item to a wingman. The wingman can then dock with a station to install it. Perhaps you can even give credits to the wingman and he/she can buy an appropriate upgrade.

Ok, I'll test out and see if the changes fixed the bug...

Giving them an item to install sounds neat, as long as you don't need to dock with them (thus bringing up the aforementioned bugs...).
If you give them creds to upgrade with, you should atleast be able to specify what upgrade they get, because it would be awful if they blow your 100000 creds on a useless weapon like the ion flame cannon... :P

Perhaps it would be possible to program wingmen to prefer specific items or items with specific traits.

I think I'd prefer to dock at the same station and tell them what to install from my hold.
