I had hoped that you would have downloaded the inkscape svg file i linked to, since i have changed the barriers. There are now 26 segments, and I'm not sure the old ones will match. I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear, but it didn't dawn on me that you wouldn't think like I do...

Now, the segments are not completely changed, so it wont be a huge piece of work to adapt them, and I'm not currently using all 26 segments, so that won't be a huge problem either.

If you can't really use the svg for anything and want the jpg, you have two choices. I will be releasing the next version in the coming day or two, so if you can wait, fine. If you can't, then let me know, and I'll put it up here.

Hope you feel like redoing them, because they look real nice.

hey, why need to be desperate? i'm not that kind of guy :wink: i'll try to work it. but as long as you only use the basic barrier for the mod at xelerus, my addon will be just fine right? :)

It will work for the current version of BattleZone (the first release) but i doubt it will work with the coming version, since the order has been changed. But again, i don't think the fix will be huge. At the moment the only segments being used are 1-10

Another thing you should be aware of, that I just thought of now, is that you need some consistent area of a quite strong highlight going through your design. It can't be too thin either. At least as far as I have been able to test, some ships, sometimes, will fly right through a barrier if the graphics are too dark. I took a closer look at the ones you did, and they really look cool, but I'm afraid that they would not provide sufficient "barrier pixels" to work.

I can personally confirm that the GFX released do indeed work just fine with the 1st release of BZ. 8)

These are two images from my last play of BattleZone. I did not expect it to get that violent :D. It was a spawn of 255 ships between levels 1 and 11. Had i not been flying an evil little ship I believe I would have been toast.

The settings i used were: SpawnMultiplier: 5, MixedLevels: 1, MixedShips: 1.

Yeah - i laughed out loud too when i saw 255 ships coming towards me.

And yes - i just made a little invincible ship for testing. The Adonai Molotok :)

it must to be very LAGGY

i play battlezone with the GOD mod and lots of escort and it was very laggy :wink: especially with CSC escort

There is really no way around that. In the screens above i actually had 0 lag, but i guess that all depends on the machine playing. I have tried to make BZ as configurable as possible, so you can tweak it to a point where you wont experience spawns that give you lag.
