as I said, it took me a while to decide on the laser. The kinetic weapon is meant to be along the lines of a railgun

the ships designed by me.

The weapon & item graphics on the other hand, can be used as long as I'm credited for them.
(and I'd prefer they stuck to a similar purpose, eg, Chaingun ICX graphic still some kind of automated solid round weapon, or laser icons for laser weapons)

And I can churn out those weapon graphics, so if you want one of your own, throw me a reference pic or 2 and say what you want.

EDIT: in other news, the weapon icons have been updated to include Ion and particle weapons, plus most weapons from modules. Also included lamplighter icon, which has been modified to appear slightly clearer.

ok, I'll get the graphics set up. Might take a while as I'm crushingly lazy. 40 facings, I assume? I'd prefer to do 20 though, as it's easier.

A ship with 180 facings will take at least 6 seconds to fully rotete. Way too slow.
I wouldn't recommend that, especially for fighters and gunships.
