Congratulations on all the previous winners of Mod of the Months! We are at the point of voting for the Mod of the Year.

We had a previous mod of the year for 2010, however due to the way mod of the month works it seems to make sense to have each mod of the moth go from November to November.
Vote time on this is 90 days, it might be closed sooner if there are not many votes.
Good luck modders and keep modding!

If you are thinking of trying out modding or want to discuss or get ideas for future mods, please stop by the IRC channel. We are having an IRC day soon so stop on by!

What happened to drako slyith's The Network?
Download and Play in 1.9 beta 1...
Drake Technologies (Alpha): More hardware for combat in parts 1 and 2!
Star Castle Arcade: Play a classic arcade game adventure, with or without more features (like powerups)!
Playership Drones: Buy or restore exotic ships to command!

Other playable mods from 1.8 and 1.7, waiting to be updated...
Godmode v3 (WIP): Dev/cheat tool compatible with D&O parts 1 or 2.

How did I screw that up? Yikes!

I found a few errors in the poll, everything should be good now.

revoting is allowed, not sure what is going on there. Perhaps just make note of your change in a post (from what you had to what you want)

Hi Ttech,

Many thanks for all your good work managing these contests. :) They help these great mods and their authors get more of the recognition they deserve.

That said, I respectfully request that (if possible) you amend the poll to credit PM for his brilliant and comprehensive Playership Drones mod. It is after all, such a worthy entry.... :D

I can try to edit it, but in the past and with very few exceptions PHPbb polls are very flaky and shaky. One update resets all the votes and such. We have quite a few votes, rest assured I will fix it in the end.

and PM, don't take any offense please! :)

Hard to decide ... well, lets combine the network with dynamic systems and see what kind of havoc comes out :D

I think [Dynamic Systems and The Network are] still separate, but I think they're compatible.
Well, I tried to set up a game with both of 'em, but had a few issues:
  • both of them define separate adventures, so Id have to edit this first an try to merge them
  • I got an error message "node luminous" not found. I think it originates from The Network but Im not sure what caused it.
  • both have and "<TranscendenceAdventure" and define a "<SystemTopology>" - so this would have to be removed from either one of them...
Conclusion: If you want both together that would involve tons of editing... and as I see it ... is not guaranteed to work.

But I dont dare to go deeper into this, because
It's not recommended unless you're a masochist though.
