Since it's unlikely that the leakyness will ever be resolved in any timely fashion, I suggest doing at least one of the following (or a combination):
1) move the stations further from the arena
2) set the "pirate!" onDestroy event to check for any of the arena wall pieces and if they are within 200ls, disable the "pirate!" event
3) set the "pirate!" onDestroy event to check if the player is currently in a match and if so, disable the "pirate!" event
