1. Would it be possible to create an xml which would tell the game what ships to load on the begining screen (the one with different types of ships fighting eachother)? Something like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<TranscendenceModule>
<Ships>
<Ship count="1d2" class="&scDwargMaster;" orders="attack">
<Escorts>
<Ship chance="25" count="1" class="&scDwargBehemoth;" orders="escort" controller="zoanthrope"/>
<Ship count="1d4+4" class="&scDwargRaider;" orders="escort" controller="zoanthrope"/>
</Escorts>
</Ship>
<rule="winner">
<Ship count="1d4+4" class="&scDwargRaider;" orders="attackl" controller="zoanthrope"/>
<rule="first group">
<Ship count="1" class="&scDwargBehemoth;" orders="attack" controller="zoanthrope"/>
</Ships>
</TranscendenceModule>
It would load the first group of ships and have them fight the next group.
First group:
<Ship count="1d2" class="&scDwargMaster;" orders="attack">
<Escorts>
<Ship chance="25" count="1" class="&scDwargBehemoth;" orders="escort" controller="zoanthrope"/>
<Ship count="1d4+4" class="&scDwargRaider;" orders="escort" controller="zoanthrope"/>
</Escorts>
Second group:
<Ship count="1d4+4" class="&scDwargRaider;" orders="attack" controller="zoanthrope"/>
The camera would follow the first ship in the first group and when that one is killed the second one in the first group and when the first group is dead it would switch to the first ship in the second group.
2. Would it be possible to make it so when you press the "c" key (for example) you would take control of the ship the camera is following? It wouldn't have to be fancy, just enough to move and fire.
If both of these are too time consuming could you just create a key similar to the "n" key but instead of removing the curent ship it removes the one the current ship is fighting.
A few small requests

Sorry, I didn't know that.
Doh.
0.97 rocks, but I'm greedy and want mooooore. I guess I should stop being lazy and start playing around with the new sovereign-generating tools. We can make our own stargate paths, right? Does that count for making a system past Heretic? Not that I'm proactive enough to go that far or anything.
