Frags Unbalanced?

Why not just add a failsafe? If I recall, if a projectile impacts before it reaches it's failsafe it fails to fragment.

You can never use the full power of a frag nither. Unless you're attacking this station that's n shaped and you hit the arc.

That would explain why the ZG24 Cluster MAG fizzles out when trying to use it directly on top of a base. It has a failsafe of 6.
Perhaps you're right in adding the failsafe code to the frag and would probably be a lot better than using canhitsource=true since it's an early-game weapon.
Then, when abused, the only damage would come from the missile itself, not the fragments-thereby eliminating the frag advantage with the "over-the-base" trick. Good catch, OddBob (previously mentioned using the failsafe code) and Burzmali!
