It's really been annoying me with recent discussion about neutral/friendly ships, that you can not easily pick if a ship is neutral or friendly from the mini map, or any other identifying marks.
Is it possible to change the colour scheme on the mini map based on the sovereign each ship/station belongs to? (and can this dynamically change to represent the player's status towards that sovereign?)
Eg. Green for Friendly, red for enemies, blue for neutral.
I know we already have Green/Red, but that is only for friendly/enemy and it does not change when you tick off a faction (eg when you annoy the Black Market and they attempt to kill you, their dots should change from neutral blue to red enemey (and if you were in the black market's circles, their dots should have changed to green friendly))
[Suggestion] Coloured dots for sovereign status

George already has the changing colors implemented, such as the Huari. It's linked to the sovereign, so it should be possible with a little code tweaking and editing.

I think its in the source code, so I doubt it could be modded. This would be mostly up to George.

Yeah. Just went looking, found nothing. It must be in the 'source source code'. We've only been given the superificial 'source' code, but George still holds the actual engine source code of Transcendence.Drako Slyith wrote:I think its in the source code, so I doubt it could be modded. In any case, I hope he does do it, because it is something small like that which adds polish to games.
