system topology brainstorm

Thinking of how to make the system topology more powerful and more useful.

System names from a pool. Right now if you know the system name you know the node while this isn't a big problem with the linear network more complex ones would want some way of hiding what node is what from the player.

Generic systems. Ie a mod maker makes a system for levels 1 - 5 it should be able to have a chance of getting it without adding it to the system nodes. The game would choose a random generic system for the current level if it isn't a set piece system. This has the advantage of people making themed systems without worrying about putting in nodes and the main xml.

Dynamic star gate generation the game already knows if the link is a valid star gate link it should disable or get rid of star gates that lead to nowhere.

Can anyone think of any others?
