Hello everyone im new to the forums as you can see 1 post =P but i just got some ideas, i dont know if they have been posted though, i did do a few searchs.
1. If you have a wingman with you you can tell him/her to stay at the tan ru dorem station and you can stash stuff there. (Now i dont know if this station is used for anything as i havnt been to far in the game yet.... i think.)
2. I think i seen this somewhere when i first started playing, but you can buy new ships (bigger or smaller ones in that ship class) with more space and equipment slots, cause it just geting annoying when i want a new device or wepon and just dont have the space.
I had a few more but i just can remeber them atm.
My ideas
1. You're talking about the empty station in the Elysium system right? I think George already has other plans in mind for that station.
Now as a counter-thought, what about being able to ask your wingman to go to the nearest merchant to sell stuff for you? A bit complicated I admit, but I think that would be a cool use for your wingman (or maybe an auton that does something similar?)
2. To a certain extent, having limited slots is meant to force the player to make some of those tough choices.. "Should I add a mine launcher or a patch spider?" But I think George is planning to allow players to swap ships or add more slots in future versions.

First off, welcome to the forums.
SparcMan has pretty much answered your questions, but I'd just like to add:
1. We'd all like to be able to give our wingmen more commands, especially 'Stay Here' or 'Dock Here'. There are similar threads that you might want to read such as this and towards the end of this.
I also take it from your statement that you're using the Stargate nexus at Elysium as a base? If you already know about this, I apologise in advance, but you could deploy Mule Autons there for the same purpose, or even download the NAV Beacon/Auton mod or the Mule Auton Z mod (the last one disregards balance, though) from Thom's mod site here.
2. SparcMan pretty much implied the answer to your question, but I'll state it explicitly - no, you can't buy a new ship at the current time.
All of these are great ideas though. Keep them coming.

1. about the tan ru dorem station i kinda thought George had planes for it just thought i would throw that idea out there, But i would like to have more commands for wingmen.
2/3. Scrap yards, they ask if you want a job and the job's inclued towing a destroyed ship back to there base 1 at a time, and bigger ones slow you down greatly you would also need a towing cable or something like that.
they could aslo ask you to bring them items that they will pay for a higher price then stations damged ones sell for less.
This could be where you get new ships?
i had a newish idea about the new ships instead of bigger or smaller ships just have newer model's they look the same they just use better technolagy and cost alot of money or you can get them as rewardes from the scrap yards for doing abunch of there missions.

I like the New mission/ships idea.
Personally I think there could be more missions in the game, and more places to get them. BTW, do you ever get to do missions for the Black market? If so, how?

Even the Dark Side has a shadow
There is one mission that you can get from the Black Market. The mission is that you have to smuggle a container to the Commonwealth Station in St. Katherine's Star System. You can only do this once you have bought enough things from them (they like you when you buy stuff). Once completed you officialy become a member of the Syndicate.
Sounds like fun. Any idea how much you have to spen for this membership? And what do you get out of it ,other than the pleasure of knowing you are a Colonel in the Commonwealth army AND a member of the Black market

Mate, some of these ideas are great.
As for the Black Market, you have to sell items that you've bought from the Black Market.
Because you can only get the mission from the Black Market Station, not the Shipyard, it is easy to miss this mission as you can already have skipped the required level by the time you come across one.
Also, in case you are trying to reach the top level (Sindikat Lord) in order to receive the Rasiermesser Launcher reward, it may help you to learn that you can sell black market/militray items that you find elsewhere to the Black Market, then buy them back and still sell them at the Nightclub for a small profit and xp.
