With word personal I mean "no other pilot is permited to use it" not " it is his own personal property".
But sometimes in war peoples own military stuff - in russia Maria Oktyabrskaya own tank - t-34. She lives in Sevastopol, but after starting of war, losing husband and sons in war and parents traped in german ocupied teritory and forced to flee from home with advancing Germans, she decide to slod everthyng she had to have money to buy it own tank - nad send letter to stalin with whis request - and aproved. His T-34 became his new home, after training and assignint as driver, she fought many battles and in 43 has ben promoted to commander of it own tank. But in later 44 she was killed.
