1) overly uber commonwealth customs
-they shouldn't be able to detect/find contraband goods 100% of the time
2) fix tereton defence sats
-they need to fire on enemy ships
3) point juno scrip puts out a very odd looking text line if player chooses not to accept the mission and the "zero hour" timer runs out
4) carriers should move around slowly- like, a ranx dreadnaught for example.
5) Military bases should have "recruitement offices"
-basically they point out/suggest what "bravery missions" you need to do to to join
6) More restraunts
7) Unique ringer ships that act as defence?
8) Not EVERYONE should attack Ferians
-I saw a ferian group squished between some warloads and a commonwealth settlement. Wrecks were everywhere. Needless to say, I got my bigger reactor.

That's why we can have scan-shielded cargo holds. Remember, we're far off in the future here.
Wolfy wrote: 2) fix tereton defence sats

Teraton sovereign is Independent Trader, meaning their friendly with everyone unless provoked.
Wolfy wrote: 3) point juno scrip puts out a very odd looking text line if player chooses not to accept the mission and the "zero hour" timer runs out
I've never refused any PJ mission, so wouldn't know about odd text. Something to look into. The "Zero Hour" will run down regardless if the player accepts the mission or not. PJ will be attacked either way.
Wolfy wrote: 4) carriers should move around slowly- like, a ranx dreadnaught for example.
They used to move around, but normally would wander way off out of the system, making it harder on the player to reach them. They will move around slightly when attacking enemies, however.

I think this is a good idea, in that it could allow the player to earn their ranks right there, but it should be harder than the traditional way.

Try more games. Each one will be different--sometimes you'll get a dozen while other times, only a couple.
Wolfy wrote: 7) Unique ringer ships that act as defence?
Interesting, but not too sure about it. Ringer bases are one of the toughest in the game and they can hold their own pretty well.

Ferian sovereign is Destructive Order, making them enemies to practically everyone--also making it fun to farm them. Have you shot at a Ferian hive yet? There's where the fun really begins!

1 ) so where do you buy one? black market?
3 ) I couldn't even get the misssion so it was usto-set to "refuse". but the message needs fixing
4 ) why can't they work like the ranx dreadnaught? they "orbit" the star.
8 ) I've farmed them, but... doesn't this make it a bit rediculously easy? Especially when the spawn next to another enemy group. Oh well- guess i shouldn't complain

That's a start. There's other ways as well.
Wolfy wrote: 4 ) why can't they work like the ranx dreadnaught? they "orbit" the star.
Actually, Ranx Dread's are set to "patrol" around their base. Since CSC's are pretty much their own base, it'd look kinda funny to see them patroling around themselves. They have Centurians that patrol around them. CSC's are usually stationed around planets, though, so it wouldn't be so bad if they patroled around them...but then, should there be an enemy station near the same planet...

Sounds like you've just been shooting Ferian miners and not their hives. Better loot in the hives! Try this on for size; Whenever you come across a mess of active Ferians, go and attack their hive first...

The Ferrian Warship mod makes the ferrians the trouble they're worth.

And...you're saying that your Mammoth 100, a really really slow regenner can hold up to all that massive firepower? Very impressive!

Yes, and I mean stock. That's a lot of HP and you're underestimating my favorite shield.

My m100 has 780HP after enhancements btw, though my m25 was the standard 240

I've used the Mammoth 100 many times and I also know that it doesn't hold up well to plasma damage and it takes forever to regen @ 2HP per...and that's stock.
And since Wolfy claims have had the Mammoth 25 and using the Ferian Warship mod as well, you're looking at roughly 3-4 Warships guarding and patroling the hive, not to mention the hive has a plasma weapon as well...then there's all the miners. The Warship has the standard plasma torch and the plasma lance, which has even more firepower.

I'm not underestimating the Mammoth 100 at all, it's a fine shield but it could never hold up long enough to any massive bombardment from all those Ferians equipped with plasma. And the Mammoth 25????
