Just a minor think i noticed when i got back to Transcendence...it seems the commonwealth fortress is able to remove my illegal smugglers cargo hold even though if it wasn't installed they would confiscate it. Isn't that...kind of strange? Or is the people who confiscate stuff seriously slacking off?

You're right. They should either completely ignore it or else arrest you under charges of smuggling.

I guess the people that remove the device are too dumb to know the difference between an Illegal item and a non-illegal item.

And supposedly, you don't have to go through the scanning again when you leave because they figure that you won't have any illegal items.
