Taikon selling Iocrym armor

It's possible to buy Light Iocrym Armor at Taikon stations. Not PROBABLE, but possible. I just saw a full set.

If the iocrym have A. Never returned and B. Have tech waaay beyond human abilities....Taikon shouldn't be selling their stuff.

If the player can loot armor from the Lobsters, I don't see why it is so improbable to think that someone else did and sold it to a station.

The fact that there are multiple research stations in the systems suggests to me that there has been a human presence in the Heretic system for a while; you can't build a station in a day, and I think it is likely that there were many hostile encounters between the (neo-)humans and Iocrym before the player arrives.

There is a source for Light Iocrym Armor within the quarantine zone though. The lobsters patrolling Heretic get killed from time to time. The Luminous AI killed one shortly before you reached the system. Surely the wrecks get looted.

True. But then have it in the area right around heretic. I've had the stuff turn up in the first ringer/taikon system. And surely using that logic...they would be examining it for research purposes in the outposts, rather than just selling it....

They can probably duplicate it in small quantities already. They can repair it after all.
