We were discussing on IRC the idea of having a modifiable hud and what that would mean to transcendence:
If there was a modifiable hud mods could take more advantage and impingement messages and change the display (size and shape). For example when the user has a mod ship one idea was to take the ships image and make a inverted image of it to display in the shields and armor display dynamically making the box and armor points.
Another idea was that the HUD status / targeting are could be used in later versions to show transcendence news and player stats.
What do you think and what are some suggestions for this?
