Since there seems to be a minor fad with all these "play like this" or "make mod like this" competition, I thought I might as well get in on it.
The objective is to make the MOST godmodded version of transcendence and complete the vanilla story line with it. By "complete" I mean:
Pwn Arco Vaughn.
Get Master in Korvlov
Get the highest rank in the commonwealth fleet and/or millitia.
Defend Point Juno.
Get the Lamplighter.
Whatever else you think you need to do.

This competition could be interpreted as being about cheating to the highest degree possible. However, there still need to be rules.
You cannot have anything "ultimate". That means that you cannot have a shield/armor with 0% damageAdj for all types, something that teleports you to heretic straight away, or have anything non-vanilla that raises your fleet/millitia level. One rule of thumb is that anything that completely and permanently prevents you from damage is "Ultimate".
No starting with any IDs or the Heretic stargate key. No Gems Of Contrition (or whichever gem that takes you to Esylum) either.
No modifying the transcendence XMLs. Overriding items is fine, but you can't modify any of the scripted events to be easier.
Scoring:
You will be scored on the quality, effectiveness, and creativity of your godmod. Just starting yourself out with a Lamplighter and a Lazarus would be an effective godmod, and is allowable, but it wouldn't win because there's no creativity there.
Now go and do. Post the relevant XML files as well as your score when you finish.

best also to disallow GM weapons that kill ANYTHING in one shot and/or have stupidly high WMD. If only because there WILL be someone who does it only to find that their repeating=19 damage=[inserthighestpossiblenumber] WMD7 weapon disintegrates the ICS in one shot.....as well as the wreck.

Eh? But we don't need godmods for doing all these. I do it all the time (all of them) with some slightly unbalanced items that are not listed as godmods in Xelerus, while playing 0.99c.schilcote wrote:...

starting with a godmod better than a lamplighter makes it pointless to get the lamplighter.Get the Lamplighter.
but banning any godmodded weapon that is better than lamplighter makes weapons balanced.

same thing goes for shields.
we also have to ban mods that are tinkering with variables and global variables, I can do simply this:

I started building a godMod station that would offer any and every item and perform all ship servicing when I got sidetracked with another project, so I'll just submit that...
Item enhancement framework
Basically, you can toss out those weapon optimizer roms and field crystals and have a hay day customizing all your item enhancements.
Not EVERY possible combination is included because, well, there's too many. Also, it will cost credits, for some things ALOT of credits, but it's worth it!
Once this competition is over I plan on reuploading it with better balance and tweak some of the options, but for now, you can have it.

I'm working on a 6 shot disposable weapon that will take out the iocrym cocoon in one hit. 
Think a DM1500, only firing a massively modded M5....that doesn't QUITE work as I wanted (I wanted it to have a thermoexplosion4 in there, but couldn't work out where to put that in)
Basically, you push the fire button, it has an insane ROF that means it's basically a repeater (repeating= "5" caused it to not use ammo
), the missiles have a low speed and agility, but have lifetime of 5000, which means a range of over 1000ls...but fire it too close to a stationary target, and it will either not arm, or it will circle the target for AGES, before detonating.
I ripple-fired a load at the St.Ks arcology from ~500ls, 4 got through the freighters on the trade routes and I think the first took out 4 segments
....The NEXT time I ripple fired it at the arcology it crashed the game due to overload.
