Okay, so I'm puttering around with the Galatic OmniDevice and the Wyvera living ship mod in 1.0 and 1.01 respectively... and I have come across gamebreakers. I will post the debug code below, but I noticed a correlation. Both games broke at Jiang's Star, and on 1.01 it also broke Battle Arena's xml...
In 1.0, I'm lollygagging around blowing stuff up having a good ole cheap time and I decide to go wreck some havoc on the Sung fleet in Huarcamarca (sp?), so I become friends with the Huari and use the GOD to warp straight to HM, go through the prophecy schmophecy stuff... blow up the fleet, accidentally piss everyone off, and restart... and the game breaks.
When I try to gate anywhere, any method:
"program state: enter stargate, saving current systemgame state: leaving stargate"
I CANNOT save, it throws an immediate error and must be closed (no debug info).
Debug will not update beyond the breaking errors. Here is 1.0 error log when I was puttering around with GODmod:

you didn't by any chance delete all the stargates? or perhaps your save file is corrupted.Unable to find destination stargate Debug in destination system.
the only other thing I can think of right now is: is your save file marked read only?
Windows 7 makes the whole "program files" folder read only, so you may need to run a program as adminstrator or "take ownership" of it's directory. of course if you don't have 7 (or maybe Vista) this last bit is completely irrelevant.

C:\Games\Trans101
if it is currently located in

FYI: Version 1.0 has a bug which corrupts save files that get too big (more precisely, when the space required to save the objects in a system gets too large, the code fails to save any objects that don't fit.)
I fixed the bug in 1.01, but I can't fix the corruption caused by 1.0.
Also, note that right now Transcendence is not very resilient to running out of disk space. If you run out of disk space while playing a game, your save file will most likely be corrupt.

Actually that brings up a valid point... I'm running Transcendence on my Flash Drive... I'll test it real quick and see if it changes anything.
