First suggestion: Don't show ships in the starting screen unless the player has seen it as a friendly, or killed it
This would prevent spoilers, and it would make the opening screen get more epic as a player progresses.
Second suggestion: Include the currently saved playership, and the playership used in the high-score.
This would help give a sense of accomplishment.

I've been thinking of doing a mod where you fight yourself. That would be very fun, you can see if you are actually better than a computer in a fair fight.Amilir wrote:Second suggestion: Include the currently saved playership, and the playership used in the high-score.

I don't know, it kinda is fun seeing ships you haven't seen before, but they should be relatively similar in level I suppose.
