Currently there are only two Genomes : Human male and human female
So I thougth of some new genomes like :
Teraton (I think that Teratons have no genders actually)
Ringer male and female
Zoanthrope (I´m not sure the have genders)
Ares male and female
Augmented Human male and female
I also thougt of unique starting places (for example Dantalion as Teraton or Ringer) or unique sovereing relations (for example Commonwealth hates you as Ares).
More Genomes
Very interesting as a mod, but I don't think it'll be very good for the original game.
For one, it'll be pretty hard to balance the game if you're allowed to start in the systems the Ringers and Teratons are, or become enemies to the Commonwealth at the start. Even if we make it so that the game IS balanced, then it'll not be canon. (The Ringers and Teratons aren't meant to be balanced. They're much more advanced than the Commonwealth, and the Ares is pretty much invulnerable in the systems without CSCs, and if you become a Zoantrope, according to how it is in the game, you'll nothing to do except following your masters' orders.)
Still, it would be very interesting to see a mod that does this, giving you the opportunity to experience the universe from another's viewpoint.
