I'm being chased.
Owww, man! I just got a HUGE combined fleet on my tail. I have a habit to destroy EVERY hostile station and in the system. Is this why I have a fleet of epic proportions on my tail? (Off-Topic) How do I make a ROM/Something that asks me what kind of ship to spawn, how many and if it is hostile to me or not?

To defeat a cloud of enemies too big to handle in a straight fight:
1. fly near a friendly station. The station will fire at the enemies with whatever weapons it has, and the friendly ships will take off and fire at the enemies as well. Adventure outfitters, taikon stations and ringer stations have weapons powerful enough to mop up anybody.
or...
2. fly near an enemy station. enemies often won't fire at you if you are near an enemy station, giving you an opportunity to sit there and pick them off with impunity. Of course, this needs to be an enemy station with no weapons, or the station will shoot at you, negating the advantage.
or...
3. park over a planet or star. The enemies can't hit you there, and you can't hit them. but you can let your sheild recharge, pop out, kill a few, then go back to the planet/star to let your sheild recharge again. you can also park over a stargate, but that doesn't make you 100% invulnerable.
or...
4. gate out of the system. The enemies can't follow you, but they will be there when you come back, so this is only useful if you intend to get weapons/sheilds/fuel and then return to the fight. Or if you don't intend to ever use that system again

if you are faster than them just let them chase you and they will spread out by themselves. That way you can fire back at them without worrying to much about them.
Crying is not a proper retort!

not a giant fleet of ferians. being destructive chaos, they will shoot near a station regardless of aliance. there for you can hover over a ringer or taikon station, watch them demolish it then loot it. If it's a taikon, a cruiser will come to the rescue (though it'll probably get pwned like the station, but it'll help reduce the enemy a bit)

mine layers are the best in this case ! 8)
Otherwise keep flying away (of you're faster or same speed as enemies), turn your ship and start firing everything you have.
ZG24 MAG works very well up to Ares systems and the fragments can deal with multiple ships at the same time.

Yeah, I ran, unfortunately, I took a lot of hits from the enemies, just when I was inside a nebula, to get to the nearest CW Fortress, I accidentally ran into an Ares base, then a lucky shot to my port armor section breached my hull, and that was the end of the Wolfen IV. (Modded ship that I'm working on.)
No, the game does not react on how many stations you destroy.BienM wrote:Owww, man! I just got a HUGE combined fleet on my tail. I have a habit to destroy EVERY hostile station and in the system. If you destroy a station just the remaining guards will chase you.
Best way to destroy many attackers is 1. - find a station with a weapon an sit on it/near it. The station will destroy the attackers then.

What do you think about the endless stream of spawns ?
What about modding wandering spawns which dont attack the player directly ?

not directly, but the inbound reinforcments will chase you after you blow up a station.Sheltem wrote:No, the game does not react on how many stations you destroy.BienM wrote:Owww, man! Do you guys even read the replies before you reply?
Sheltem: They already said that. Read before you write. Otherwise you will most likely repeat what someone has already said. like you just did.
