When I type my new name so I can start another game without losing the data from my first one, I hit enter after I type it and it just automatically changes back to my first games name.
I want to play a different game with each ship so plz help me!

Also, the game autosaved when I went through St. K's stargate. I saved the system b4 it and went exploring and donated all my stuff to Domina, and when I self-destructed to load my game up, it started me in St. K's at the stargate!

Also is there any good way of having multiple saves for each game without having to manually duplicate each one??? I am not privy to mods yet so any help will be great.

Thanks,

1) I can not replicate that behaviour. Are you sure you are not doing something wrong?

2) The game always autosaves when you enter new systems, and when you Save and Quit

3) No, savescumming is the only way. And it will most likely remain the only way. Transcendence comes from the line of rougelike games, that love to make you feel bad when you die :D

Oh, and also, Caps Lock sucks :/

Yeah sorry bout CAPS I didnt realize it was on til after I posted it...gets on my nerves too.

1)Yeah man I have absolutely NO mods or anything and when I type, for example, pilot2 as my name and hit enter, it just switches back to pilot1. Can't figure it out!

2)Thanks for the autosave info ill remember that. it screwed me big time. i had just not ran into that b4. I always saved and quit in a system and stayed in that system.

Are you using a non-standard keyboard? (ie, non-qwerty)

are you running the game from a USB pendrive ? can you read/write to that drive ? not having full read/write access to the transcendence folder makes weird behaviors. (happened before)

is your savegame file corrupted ?

BTW, I edited the title of the thread and put it to lower case, but you can do it yourself: you can edit your own posts, this is not Facebook.
