I was wondering if the mouse buttons could be mapped in the setting doc? If they can then what are the names need to do this. Like mouse button 1, 2, 3 ect.?

That seems to be all of those that I have seen on mice (ie, my mouse has all of those)

Any editing of the settings in the XML doc seems not to effect the game at all no matter what I do. I even tried to set different keys on the key board. I have a feeling it would have to be changed in the code of the game. I have no idea why the XML doc is even there. The game produces it when u first play it after unzipping the download.
Maybe there is a mod that lets u remap, but all i have read on the forums so far says the mouse does not work for anything but menus.

Oh wait...
I thought this thread was a proposal to add the mouse support
No, we don't yet have mouse support.

O! I for one support addition of mouse support.
Get it?
Honestly though, if we added mouse support to the game it would run a lot better on devices that rely on touch input which would make get game very interesting.

I would suggest a "follow the mouse" option in the settings. Simple thing like left-click to shoot and right-click to dock. Missiles could still be mapped to a keyboard, or they could be set to a double-click.Ttech wrote:O! I for one support addition of mouse support.
