The Inertialess Drive offers unique novel strategies, but is not really helpful for commerce. It's great for dogfights and even any kind of fights, if you're skilled enough. But it's not easy to get familiar with, especially for beginners, so as for this guide's scope, I'd say it's pretty useless.
Yes, look at my avatar, I have a wyvera type ship.

You can actually slingshot yourself - turn off the Inertialess while you're thrusting and then continue to coast, this would of course only be possible if you have a keyboard that has more than 3 key rollover.

You're right tho, probably not efficient for the EI500 as at its default speed it spends more time in space. Maybe if it took only 1 key to turn the thing on or off... <_<'

Great guide. Somehow it's motivated me to make walkthrough.

Sorry for breaking the Necro Ban, but I have a strategy for 'Black Market' ID ROMs, Illegal goods, fuel, and scrap to sell to tinkers.
1. Find a Outlaw Haven, and the closest stargate. Outlaw Bases are an OK replacement, but not foolproof.
2. Attack/lure a Oromo or T-series craft. When they are outside the Outlaw Haven's gun range, blow them up.
3. Wait until the replacement convoy. This will consist of up to 3 Oromos, and one T-series craft. If it is an Outlaw Base, then it might be a T-31 and some Zulus.
4. Dock, find loot, and if there is scrap, sell to the appropriate vendor.
5. Repeat.
IMPORTANT: Do not destroy the Haven/Base! if you do, then the convoys will stop coming. And unlike Sung, Dvarg, or Charon pirates, I don't think they will call for reinforcements when it is destroyed.

Pros: Lots of Helium Assemblies, Illegat items for a profit, scrap for tinkers or vendors.
Cons: Might need to wait, tinkers/vendors will only buy a limited amount of the same junk, no 100% chance of ID ROM, outlaw Havens are rare.
Mk.3 Dual howitzer + 30% (Hexagene Booster) + Makayev weapon enhancer (+75%) + Wolf-class heavy gunship/Monitor = :D :) :o
