Why does the freigther has tactial upgrade ROMs on start but the fighter class ship wolfen ?
Why do refugee-cargocrates have a loot screen although there can never be something inside them ?
How can a barricade fit into a cargo crate ?
Why do I always free all my slaves at the commonwealth ?
Why can't families inside the sung quarters free the other slaves after destruction ?
How can humans get into a sealed cargo container ?
Why are unid illegal items taken away but not unid military items ?

What about modding wandering spawns which dont attack the player directly ?

well, I think that the code should be changed so that you don't give the slaves to commonwealth if you have a smuggler cargo hold installed.

In this way you can maybe trade slaves, and maybe imprisoned as a trader by the commonwealth :D

BTW slavery crime is already implemented in code :

Not identifying *instead* of deletion, but rather both. Ignorance is no excuse in the law, hence the confiscation. However, one is not punished without knowledge of what one is being punished for.

because the freighter's specialty is devices, like roms and barrels, while the wolfen's is weapons and combat. The Hull-plate ionizer and speed bonus fully compensates for the rom and barrel, even if the freighter gets regen/target rom.

good question. It also fits into a *wolfen* gunship (:shock: ). Actually, come to think of it, it probably folds up.

Hey, actually that's a good point.
Oh! do you mean like maybe the experience of getting something confiscated would enlighten you with the knowledge of what that item was in future encounters? You could look it up on the arrest report or something, right? I never noticed if you get the item IDed when it's seized. It could. Unless you were meant not to be informed.

A: Betelgeuse has a good answers--that's what I would say: The Hyperion is not under military control; perhaps it is so new that the Commonwealth doesn't have rules about it yet.

Q: Why is there armor that cannot be installed on a freigther ? :)
A: Battleships and carriers use heavier armor.

Q: You know of the bugs in present Point Juno ? :?:
A: Need specifics, please. Which bugs?

Q: Why is a unidentified box confiscated ? :evil:
A: Ignorance is no excuse. If I try to take some unknown device through airport security and the device turns out to be a bomb, it will get confiscated (and I will be jailed) regardless of whether I know what it is or not.

Q: Why cant we power Gaian demo cannon ? :?:
A: (1) Because the technology is available only to the Gaians. (2) Because not all superweapons should be available to the player.

A: Sort of. Adding a new enhancement (or disability) will erase the previous.

A: To minimize another source of money.

A: Freighter actually has a random ROM. The Wolfen is already pretty powerful. [Though arguable, the freighter should be weaker]

A: Same screen is used for when the cargo crate has loot.

A: Diagonally.

A: Because the Commonwealth won't let you do anything else.

A: (1) They don't have a ship. (2) Otherwise, how will the player end up with the slaves (to either free or sell)?

A: They get in before it is sealed and seal it from the inside.

A: Not sure I get the question. I belive military items are confiscated.

Q: why is the Iocrym repeller an Energyweapon ? (no other plasma weapons are) :?:
A: Because it generate plasma directly from a power source (not from an expendable cartridge). EnergyWeapons can be enhanced by Longzhu spheres.

Q: why the gaian Demolition cannon is an Energyweapon ? (it's thermo damage) :?:
A: Same as above.

This is very interesting, so "specialty" modifier is used to influence loot and buy/sell tables.
I have to update the random station loot mod to use it correctly. :D

Thanks for commenting george, I hope you got some ideas just want to make everyone think.

I don't want to comment every comment of you, but this one has a misprinting in it.
Certainly, useables must vanish when the are used, but I meant when they didn't had an effect they are gone also.
I once used field crystals on a already improved shield or low level shield, because I thought it would work/overwrite the old stat.
Now as I'm more experienced, I need a negative application first, to test another crystal on an already amplified shield.
Although playing a game in nethack style implies that you don't get to know every aspect of the game, but its also not very easy for beginners when their just found rare crystal vanishes.
You should think about how frustating a game should be.

You should think about how frustating a game should be.
That's a good point. I need to reconsider that on a case by case basis. For shield crystals, I think I will relax some of the cases in which they vanish without effect.
