I'm not really a beginner, (Been playing since .95) but I have N00b question. How do I make friends with the Huari? I don't mind spoilers since I've played the game through a time or two, someone please just answer that question!

What??? I have to kill them to be their friends? I was doing it opposite, killing the Sung and staying as far away from the Huari as possible.

you destroy sung stations.

do NOT destroy ANY Huria, even the ships.

not sure how many sung to blow up though.


I believe if your wingmen destroy any hurai it counts as you doing it.

Oh gotcha, :-D it's an honest mistake, but that makes more sense. So after I kill these Sung stations I can dock with Huari? Or they come to me on their hands and knees begging me to forgive them for all those times they shot the kack out of me with their slam cannons, and help them out of a jam?

They will suddenly appear friendly and allow you to dock with the fortresses.

Thank you all! I appreciate the help. Not that I attack Huari anyway, normally when I see those slam cannons pouring in at me, I usually mutter "Kack" and put as much space between us as possible! :-D

Thanks, and no problem, I usually don't get that far, seems I can't make as much money in Eridani as I used to...

I know, but in older versions I'd get myself set up with weapons and shields in Eridani. Since my modded ships usually come with the Class 1 and Laser cannon or Recoilless.

Ah. Those are rather on the lame side. Try hoarding all the centauri rice and selling it all at once to the corporate enclave. That should set you up with gear good enough to move on with. Or switch to the Wolfen or something comparable.

I do that. But last game I got only six barrels of Centauri rice. Lame.

I modded in 3-5 centauri stations around the outermost planet, because I too have had annoying rice shortages... :x
