In order to answer to Lord Charminium (that even if in peaceful relation with us, is not one of us)

who is currently a member of this pact but, importantly, who is not?

Are we all agree in make a pubblic list of our members? Why yes? Why not?
I must underline that now the identity of the majority of our members is very well known,
so, I think, why not?

I say yes also. To this all so we know who is with us and who is not.

The disguise was necessary to prevent Lord Charminium from seeking me out and destroying my capital. Again.

I captured your capital after you attacked two members of this pact. As an experienced player you were aware of what would happen when you captured sector capitals, and those were the were the worlds you chose to attack.

Ask the Mandalorians and Newbie about what kind of neighbor I am. Ask Finnian and Felor. I expand aggressively but peacefully. I keep am eye out for fleet movements with explorers, but if you ask me to remove them, I will.

And if you attack, I will respond.

But I bear you no ill will. I'm not holding a grudge. I wish your new empire a peaceful and successful existence. But understand if you start @#$%&?! with anyone, expect a visit from the 1st Space Marine Divison and a fleet of a few thousand starfrigates.

I haven't looked at that cluster for a few days, so I might need one or two more worlds for consumer goods, but I'll even help you by clearing the space forces around whatever free worlds you'd like. (btw, although Lord Charminium will conquer every remaining world around your capitals and choke you to death, he won't break any of your stuff and his capitals serve the finest sweet biscuits in the East )

I will vote yes to anyone who wishes to join unless I specifically state otherwise. (IE one of my friends in the real world who I know is, to put it extremely mildly, "mean" decides to join with the intent of causing war and mayhem) It warms my heart to see new empires taking root and flourishing!

Though, I'll say again, as I did about a month ago a few days after this thread started: who's a member? And how are we even voting people in if we don't know who all the members are?

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding with Lord Charminium. I remember I proposed him to join us but I was convinced he refused my offer. And nobody voted him. Anyway. We can fix it if we want.

As a new, small nation nearly encircled by the Republic of Reason Accipiter petitions for entrance into the Barricades Pact. Should it help me to be accepted, I would be happy to act as a vassal state to the Republic of Reason.

Everybody in the North quadrants is encircled by the Republic of Reason . You're United Earth Directorate, right? IIRC a lot of the planets in your area used to be Bismalia's up until last week. Don't think of yourself as a "vassal state"; who knows what the map will look like next week.

Oh, I'm aware that I can hold on without being that closely tied to another empire, I was more looking at it as an opportunity to gain a little guidance by helping another empire out

No objection to Charminium joining, so long as he leaves my central southern cluster a few cycles to get a jumpyard operational.

EDIT - It is; the Arena is almost directly to your east. Have fun blowing up whatever random ships you find there and tell us what happened on the Arena thread! (though leave all starship fleets alone for now since they are going to be part of an organized-ish battle)

For instance, Dogeland's recent pair of citadels in the east, currently armed with about 20k Partisans makes me nervous. He's definitely not part of the pact right?

I wasn't involved with the war with Bismalia. Is he still active? How did the war with him ultimately conclude? It seems like a lot of that went down in-game and off-forum.
