May all galactic contenders, great and small, be made aware of the official proclamation of a Stellar Republic in the distant and forgotten south-east corner of the galaxy, nestled in the no man's space between the prime holdings of the Saxophon trader enclaves and the stagnant leviathan that is the Q empire. Birthed in the endless cycles of infighting and chaos that claimed our sector of unwanted and uncolonised space, we seek to finally bring together this neglected sector of the galaxy, uplifting all those who have suffered under the short-sighted tyranny of autonomous local rule. We stand as the liberators of all sapient species from the warlords, authoritarians and squabbling sects that claim these singular worlds as their own, and our grand aim is to see all the worlds within our sector brought together into one great and prosperous community - the People's community, built to serve all in fairness and equality.
Though we have postponed this declaration for a number of cycles since our official conception, the musings and assumptions of other empires on our culture, beliefs and way of life have not gone unheard. We urge all other imperial entities across the galaxy to set aside these stereotypes and view us as what we are and aim to always be: liberators, nation-builders and friends to all those who find themselves oppressed and held back from prosperity. We seek only to unite all peoples in the south-east and finally put to rest the tragic stagnation that all of us have borne for many cycles to this point. We ask that the other stellar nations that stand alongside us to respect this noble purpose, and in return, we offer our united hand in friendship to all those who recognise the legitimacy of our mission.
Our relative weakness in comparison to the ancient, sprawling empires occupying much of the rest of the galaxy is not unknown to us, though the gulf between us and those giants contracts more rapidly with each passing cycle. Our ambitions do not lie in dominating the galaxy or brushing shoulders with these great powers, merely in bringing an era of peace and prosperity to a sector of space that has not known such for far too long. We aim only to become strong enough to defend our rightful space once all of its peoples are united, and to facilitate similar peace and cordiality between all galactic powers.
We trust that this proclamation will be received warmly by our fellow interstellar states across the galaxy, and we look forward to establishing cordial diplomatic relationships.

Hear the worlds of the Auroran Hegemony:
It is always good to see new peoples strive for dominance on the galactic stage. This is in accordance with the One Truth.
Your empire's ideology is dangerous, putting trillions at risk. The Hegemony will oppose you with both words and deeds.
Here end the words of the Hegemony.

And yet such folly, lying so far outside of the light of the One Truth as to be beyond aphotic. Should the Lamb eat the Wolf? The Piglet chase the Bear? When controls grow lax industry collapses and billions die, only the strong can protect their people from this fate. It is the moral duty of the strong to conquer and control the weak, that the may be protected from themselves and put to useful work. No method of government that does not embrace at least some aspects of the One Truth can hope to survive on a galactic scale, it will either be conquered by the strong or collapse under the weight of its own folly.
