These are my ideas and suggestions for game improvement. I have been playing some other strategy games and took some inspiration from it. Just note that this is my "raw" thoughts so I may not able to elaborate a lot of detail at the moment. Hopefully George able to take notes and spare some time of his tight schedule to working on Anacreon future eras.
Leaderboard
We need a leaderboard to give player sense of competitiveness. The ranking is based on imperial might and/or conquered worlds.
Seasonal Scenario
What I mean instead of stagnant and linear scenario, what if scenario game reset and generate new galactic map in every four months or a year?
Every time "game season" end, 1st player in leaderboard will be granted with a title/medal as "The Conqueror of [season]".
More Scenarios
Ideas:
- Too Close for Comfort; galaxy map is reduced into quite small size and support only 20 players. Perfect for fast-paced game.
- Great Rift; a large map that divided to two area by a rift zone. Players need to crawl through tight space to get across.
Propaganda Conquest

Abandon World
Player should be able to abandon their own worlds at cost making other worlds unhappy (since it gain independence).
Alternative option is "Release as vassal": the world still owned by player but it turned to autonomous world instead. Player still able to use it as an outpost.
Research & Upgrade
At Foundation world, player can research an economical and military upgrades. Instead of using resources, research uses AES currency. The upgrade is permanent as long as their empire survive. Future Science & Technology doctrine would gain much benefit from this.
Strategy
- Diplomacy: Player should be able to make a alliance with other empire. The benefit mainly to make friend and able to trade resources at each other.
- Diversity Combat: Add damage and armor bonus with if player combined different types of space force or ground force to a single fleet. More unit type included in a fleet, more power they get.
- Blockade: During siege, attacker ship fleet will block defender's world trade route as long it remain in that world. Blockade can deal armor penalty toward Defender ground units.
- Rebellion Funding: Player can "fund" rebels at their enemy empire world during rebellion; increasing its power. Need AES instead of resources to prevent abuses. Player also can start rebellion on enemy world if its social order at Rebelling state.
- Heroes/Commander: A fleet can assign a "Commander". Thus gain certain perks and stats bonus. Only obtained with AES currency and recruited at Capital/Sector Capital. Personally not really want this and probably dumb idea, but perhaps George or others might be interested.
Special Unit
- Dreadnought: Highest tier of jumpship/starship/ramjet. Its production is resources hungry or perhaps you need AES to produce 1000 units. Not sure where to place them though. Either doctrine exclusive or a world designation that only available at TL10.
- Tank (ground unit): Don't know why I could think of this.
Special Structures
Each world have only one slot for special structure. So you can't have two special structures at one world.
- Third Space Defense Slot: I think all world should allow only two space defenses (missile silo & tower). If we build third space defense (constellation), then special structure slot is used.
- Radar Station: Increase detection radius from the world.
- Fort/Stronghold: Add defense/armor bonus for ground forces. Also produce infantry brigade.
- Worker Union Hall: Increase efficiency by 10% beyond normal effeciency. May be or not be stacked with perk effect from future Industrial & Growth doctrine.
- Tradeport: Trading Hub structure only. Able to export to trader union to gain AES without Trade & Enterprise doctrine. Maybe it's need some limitation.
- Royal Academy: It available in Capital by default and can be build at Sector Capital. Enable to recruit "commander".
- Emperor Hall: Sector Capital structure only. Reduce secession of sector capital. Does not produce imperial guard.

It sounds great but maybe a new currency other than AES would be better for this or at least a new way to produce AES because people can kill the trader (bot) empire and make it impossible for AES gain, but in general it sounds really good, hopefully it will caught attention from George.DigaRW wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 7:49 pmThese are my ideas and suggestions for game improvement. Personally I would love to have a warp beacon that allowed travel between that world and another world no matter the location, distance, or type of craft/cargo, but it would be extremely expensive build and require an 1 full cycle to use no matter the distance. The world being warped to must be independent.
EX. I place a fleet of whatever onto the beacon world, press travel or whatever, the fleet uses 25 hours real time to get to the designated world (each cycle is 25 hours).
You might say, well that is dumb. Consider the following: To build a cluster and get to the other side of the map takes weeks or even months.
But let's say this sucker is expensive, like it requires the resources of an entire cluster to "power" and must be tech 10, maybe even an empire is only allowed one. That is a really powerful tool to defend and a huge target.
Let's say we want to give the other tech's a similar technology, but low key, then that warp world could be upgraded. So perhaps it has a radius on it. T7 is 2 cluster widths, T8 is 4, T9 is 5, T10 is entire map. Or something.
Use it as much as you want, but watch out, someone is coming for you.

Neat idea. I thinking it should be something researchable or buildable at capital & sector capital. Then making it very labor intensive (10-25%) rather than making economic cluster to power it.
