Location: At the VSS Shipyards in the frontier, designing new ships.

How would you make, a playable Viking II Gunship for example?
(I was trying to make playable versions of some ships. They come in several classes:
1) Novelty- small ships that you'll probably die in eridani with
2) Light- ships on the lighter end, but balanced. Get better starting credits
3) Balanced- ships "on par" with the starting player ships
4) Heavy- More advanced ships. Few starting credits
5) Superfreighters- kinda novelty, but is sorta balanced...
6) Battleships- Obviously novelty. *imagens flying a CSC or a ranx dreadnaught around eridani*)

This is really a just-for-fun kinda mod.

Erm... You know you go to get the eample of teh mod ship, and then change the data accodingly to each ship class.

actually, i was looking for a compilation of all the data. I found some of the files, but some ships (like the defender for example) I can't seem to locate them.

I made a playable ranx dreadnaught. Uses the wolven image for it's shield and selection icon though. I decided to balance it for real gameplay. It has better accel and lower max speed, but it's still like trying to fly a brick. Due to it's poor maneuverability, I gave it an omnidirectional turbolaser (to make up for it being a unmissible spacefaring brick) and slightly better than normal beginning armor. It's pretty fun to play with.

nevmnd- I made a file with all the ships in it- I think.
Most of them were tucked away in "encountersVol1".
20 facing with big ships is still kinda decent since they generally use omni directionals anyway so...

have you got an already made list/xml of all the ships ingame ?

please, can you post that ? maybe on xelerus ?

uh i'll see about that- I still need to double check to see if i have everything. probably by this weekend (plenty of work this week)
