No one has ever thought of creating a currency converter? Pity not to use all those accumulated credits!

hmm if noone else is interested, I could make you a 'currency exchange office' station in no time... but I think it doesn't exist for a reason. Even the Teratons make gaining as much rins as you possibly need, quite an easy task. Buy plenty of level 7 weapons at Thors, sell at Teratons - and that's it. A direct currency exchange possibility would make this even simpler. and thus there would be little sense in having rins in the first place. Am I not right?

Perhaps if the exchange ratios were outrageous.... like if you only got, say, 20% of your money's worth, both ways. Say, you buy some rins for 10000 creds, but then you can only buy back 400 creds with those rins.

There used to be a couple conversion mods in the old mod site--guess they wern't wanted enough for them to be reuploaded again.

And FYI, there is already a conversion ratio of 5:1 (5 credits to 1 rin). Check the Ringers xml.

We didn't understand each other... 1 rin IS worth 5 credits, in a sense that a weapon whose credit-value is, say, 100000 credits, would cost 20000 rins if there were no other factors involved.

I meant getting only 20% of the REAL VALUE of each currency. So, you would get 40 rins for 1000 credits, and then you could buy back 40 credits for those 40 rins (although such a reverse transaction probably makes about no sense at all  - no reason why anyone would want to buy credits with rins - I'm just trying to illustrate what I meant by that '20% of value').
