Would pepole like to see more mods from me?
I was never very good at Transcendence modding. I don't even play the game anymore. I really don't know why I'm here. But anyway, I was just wondering if it would be worth the trouble to get out my mind-WD40 and remove the rust from my modding skills. I was thinking of making a mod to make Transcendence a more humorous type of thing, sort of a counterpart to Atarlost's new mod. Like I'd replace the laser firing sound with "Pew pew pew!" type things. Maybe turn the Iocrym into a Shoop-Da-Whoop.
Anyone have an opinion?

It would not hurt a bit of humor and also some eye-catching image (I'd like to see the young lady who whispers her name in my ear after defeating Arco!) Or listen to a few seconds of a song (at our option) when you cross a stargate!

I recently watched a vid on YT where someone replaced EVERY sound with his voice effects. it was hilarious!Like I'd replace the laser firing sound with "Pew pew pew!" type things.
This would actually be quite easy to do, just overwrite all the sounds with your own and they can be dropped in or taken out at will.

Well, pepole seem interested, so I guess I'll work on it. I can't find a particular sound though, and it contains a slightly dirty word, so I can't type it... The joke that uses it would be so funny though, I don't think I could do the mod without it.

If you need a reason for staying, Schilcote, how about that selectable warp drive mod I was asking you about earlier in the year? Or better yet, teach me how to make "selectable" scripts and devices; I still have trouble figuring that one out...

I think I have that somewhere around here.

I think I'm going to wait until 1.0 comes out to start working on humor mod. I've done some work on the graphics (photoshopping hearts and smilies on the CSCs, stuff like that), but I don't want to have to restart my code base as soon as 1.0 comes out...
