gone un noticed maybe.....

"scavenge" , used by the salvagers also includes picking up loose Ore in a system :) just found that out while re-working the ore/loot dock screens to sound more realistic to my opinion.

And back to the topic of disabled content, check the Penitents' Repentant-class gunship: it has the same Oracus HARASS power as the Penitent Shrine! Commented out, of course. Would be interesting to enable it on a variant ship, add one to every Penitent station, and give it "wander" orders.

It would be nice to have those in Dynamic Systems.... :twisted:
But yeah, they would be epic deadly if equipped with that. :O

I used those ships in testing: they are not as useless as they appear.......they just need a boost in reinforcements ;
Once i boosted them , forget it, they became a force all their own : had to beat them with a Nerf gun.

the contract board changes after 1.01 to contract delivery : it is for the player on a mission, the gateway still is used but only for the Temple mission;
i think , like the extra systems the explosion are for " later" : the new versions carry around 200 options for systems: im sure they got plenty of room for explosions.

The Orion is a liquid fuel tanker, and the Empress is a luxury liner. Or at least that was what they were originally going to be, don't know if george had any plan-changes in store for them. You can actually see one of the large pressurized containment vessels of the Orion in the .scn file in the art resources.

There is also the red asteroid w/ the hole station which I posted on xelerus because it was removed after version 0.7 from the art resources, as well as additionally the purportedly original form of the EI100 (the white boxy one) which showed up on the Jia's Ship Guide on the old version of the Transcendence site. (Both of these can also be seen in the art resource .scn files)

did anyone notice the EI100M in 1.06a ? it is in there but only in the listing: it has no call outs in the game anymore.
In 2380 I am restoring the 100M to action but it does not play in the regular game.

The 100/M is also turning up in SUO, with a small bufff. What are you doing with it? I was gonna give it to Korolov, then eventually turn it into a Q-ship of sorts.

just traffic : I am re-writing the 2380 and i was comparing the 1.06a tables with the ones i had from 2380 designed for 1.01 :
I made sure it flies in regular traffic again: thats all. as a working freighter under escort it's weapons are not very useful because most ships under escort do not "fire at will"
