I'm wondering at what point that it will be possible to add custom solar systems to transcendence.
I have all the gear for some great set battles...

Uhh... I'm fairly sure it's possible already. Not through an extension, but you should be able to add them through the main XML.

On another note, has anyone ever tried to add something wish a module? It would be cool if we could get custom systems to work with modules.

Actually, I am working with the modules right now.

Let me know how it goes. I don't think anyone has played with modules before, and I'd like to know what advantages they have over extensions.

I was talking extensions. I don't like touching the main XML/modules.

I think that even if you can make a working system with a module (like CharonFortress.xml or BattleArena.xml does); you still wouldn't be able to use the <StarSystemTopology>...</> to make it accessible from the game without using a main xml mod.

That's true, but it would be a simple fix. Add installation instructions to your mod's Readme file :P

Either that, or allow people to download the modified XML file. Provided THEY don't mess with their XML, it would work fine.
