How can I stop a player ship from being slowed down when I load it with too much cargo or heavy armor segments?

Thanks!

If you want to spare a device slot for the cause, there are some trive upgrades that could do you come good. Keep in mind, though, that they will draw a fair bit of power.

*hints at possibility of modding*

A ship with extremely high stock mass (think 20k+) and thrust to match won't get slowed down by 200 or so tons of cargo.

Yep, a mod was what I was looking for... sorry, should've said it in the first post.

What ship do you want it based on?

Drive upgrades aren't going to work, excluding inertialess drives, but this SHOULD work. And, if you don't like it, pull off the extension.

You could always mod them as well, to match your insane ship weight with even-insaner thrust 8-)
