Ship facings

it's not easy, but here goes

take the image
expand the image to twice it's height, split up the facings and arrange them in a pattern, up to down, of facing, facing sized space, facing, etc

take each facing, copy it, rotate the copy by 9 degrees, put it in the space below that original facing.

repeat with the other 19 facings.

repeat all with the mask.

New question. Could someone tell me what all the lines of items mean and what are my choices for em? And how it will effect what they do in the game...
(i dont mind if it will be too much trouble and you dont wanna do it)

first part. yes, the mask tells the game what is ship and what is the background. no mask apart from an error, the game won't be able to draw the ship properly.

second part. i don't understand the question, you mean things like "data=" "level=" "modifiers="? inside of item types?
