Get it here

You get to interact with the refugees. (Help them and they may help you)
More pirates in the trap (thrice as many and a wee bit more meaner)
A thief! He could rob you blind, depending on your wealth. There is a slight marginal chance that you can stop him and get your credits back. You'll have to figure out how....

Note that this expansion will override the original code.

Nice mod! Encounters of this sort seem like a really great way to add to the game. :)

One word to you my friend: Wewt
Charon Fizz-Soda! It's Red! It tastes like Awesomness! AND PIRATES MADE IT! Better than Eridani Mineral Water too!

Thanks! I know for myself that eventually the sealed cargo containers become obsolete, in that it ends up not being worth it to open them by mid-game. My aim here was to try and change that as well as make them somewhat important if necessary--when certain items cannot be found. And of course, there's also greater risks involved.

@ digdug; I sent you a PM in concerns to a mod of yours.
