Here is a basic version of the Unique Stations and Leaders mod that I have been working on for playing with the Stone Soup Topology mod. This version is updated to work with the Random Equipment mod (requires it)

Mod on Xelerus

This mod creates some unique versions of the enemies stations that are harder to kill, have more ships or more reinforcements, have better weapons and even some have a 'leader' ship geared up to fight hard.

The current version offers a few uniques for each enemy type I chose, and all of these stations can only appear once in a game but they also have a very rare chance of appearing at all.

This mod will be expanding, however new versions may not be out before Trans 0.99.

In the meantime, enjoy some harder challenges in station cracking.

*Grabs it* A great addon to the RE2 mod! Definitely not for the timid.
Ever think about putting a warning label on it for the unexpecting? :P

hope you don't mind that i was working on something a bit similar tied in with my patrols and reinforcements.
There are now upgraded versions of earlier game ships seen operating in later levels, (IE, there are some advanced charon stations seen quite a ways past st-kats (each harder by the level, as with all of them))

oh, I don't mind and I hope you do go for much more! I like the idea of bringing early game ships back around for more damage!

Warning label? 'Periculi' is latin for dangers!!
