ahhmm!! how do we compress a .zip format a compressed winzip format does not seem to be uploaded to xelerus that too my first one and if i upload it please comment

I have a Windows Vista and simply open the right button menu (right click) and choose Send To => Compressed Folder, and haven't ever had a problem on xelerus.

There are some free compression tools available, try a Google search.

it's a known problem on xelerus (I had it too)

A zip file can have different mime types.

Try using a different browser, this resolved my problem with windows xp (now that i use vista i don't have it anymore, and i don't know why )

I tried under FF3 with :
- WinZIP under W2k,
- WinRAR under W2k,
- Compressed Folders of WXP,
- IZarc under WXP.

To no avail.

EDIT #1 : finally I tried with IE6 on the IZarc version and it passed...
