A use for many facings

As well as using many facings for large ships/ high detail, There are other things that they can be used for.

This quick concept shows another use: turrets.

Using 60 would appear as a 20 facing ship with a turret that could point left, right then forward. It might be a little awkward trying to get the frames to go in the correct order, but this is just an example/ visual aid.

EDIT: I thing 60 might be wrong. Now I think about it, to stop the turret jumping around, it would need to go "forward, left, forward, right" for each frame of the ship itself turning, which would use 80 frames but work correctly.

just attach turrets like docked ship maybe and script them to die when the mains ship dies? I should try this out...

That wouldn't really work for an independent/ player controlled turret.
