What are the damage event globals? The reason I ask is because I would want to tell the state of the firing ship when it fired and the easiest way of doing that is if I have access to the shot that was fired as we can put data on it.
bonus question: if we don't get typeless damage what kind of damage would be the best to make a weapon that deals specific damage? For example with the lower damage types I get 0 damage to the higher levels and with the higher damage types I get granular damage in the lower levels (ie only damage in multiples of 5)

Next version (RC3) will have a variable that represents the missile/object that caused the damage (aCause). Of course, there are cases where it might be Nil.
