Ferian/Luminous code on ships

Is it possible to use the ship creation code from the luminous and ferian stations on a ship? If so, how would I go about it?

I wish to unleash fleets of breeder nanomachines which will spew forth minions to do my bidding, wreaking havoc on all of known space.

Seriously though, I want a factory ship that can make other little ships at regular intervals. I'm going to take a stab at that nanomachine system idea.

I suppose I misled you with the 'minions to do my bidding' part...I actually want this to be a hostile ship, not the player ship.

Also, I don't want to know that it can be done, I want to know how to do it!

Have you tryed making the ship a station, like the CSCs, and applying the create code in the <StationType>?
