Nonplayerships have no maxArmorMass attribute: intentional?

Location: Hmm... I'm confused. Anybody have a starmap to the Core?

Reading from the descriptions of the ships in Trans [or was it NewPlayableStockships?- the descriptions were SPOT ON- especially the Dragon slaver], it was natural for me to assume that shpChange would be used so that we could buy ships like the Manticore, IAV series, and the Molotok (fight bounty hunter with a bounter hunter, huh?). Anyways, after my normal Transdata spree with the new version, I realized that every nonplayership has no specified maxArmorMass, making it 0- we can't put on any armor at all?! Does that mean that George doesn't want to allow vanilla shipchange into the Manticore, etc. and save shipchanging for post-Heretic (the pilgim aquires an alien ship?)

NPCs do not need such stats, so they do not get them. If George plans to make those ships playable in the future, he will add the necessary stats when he is ready.

We can only change to ships that have the <PlayerSettings> element, and since only the three playerships in vanilla have that, then those are the only ships you can change to. In future versions, George will probably add more playerships.

Oh. The thing about NPC's and PlayerSettings (I thought they were there, but George decided to say initialClass="false"). No maxArmorMass for NPC's makes much more sense now.
