8bit-masked stars have problems with the glow color thingy

I wanted to try and use a cool-looking UV image of the sun as a Trans star. If I set its spaceColor to "0x00, 0x00, 0x00", it looks normal (ignore the glowy asteroids, those are a project of mine):

BUT, If I set the spaceColor to anything else, it starts screwing up the image, starting with the most opaque (but not completely opaque) parts:

Should I make a ticket for this? I can just go with a 1bit mask if I need to (I know how Trans deos it- make sure the outer edge of the star is all the same color and make the spaceColor match). I just wanted to try out an 8bit mask to see if it worked.

The first picture is not normal, I see a number of red pixels or small groups of pixels on the sun image in the SRS, and a few large groups of them on the sun image in the LRS...

Eh. OK, my laptop's color apparently sucks ten times more than I thought it did. The first image looked fine, only there was a bit of a border on the edge of the star. So I guess the problem is, stars don't play well with 8bit masks at all... (oh, I'm pretty sure the dots on the SRS are background stars, since they were being rendered over the sun, and on the LRS... yeah, that's a bit screwy as well).

Well, at least I know that. I'll just not use 8bit masks with stars. And not do any designing on my laptop...

Please make a ticket, George has been changing the behavior of images so he might fix this as well ;)

Noticed this when I made my stars. The stars just don't like 8-bit masks very well at all.
